!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! actually owns this incredible Ferrari Daytona and I've posted pictures of it before, but Matthew occasionally posts snaps of it on Twitter and it's wonderful to see it occasionally. The car was his Dad's, who bought it new, so this is a family heirloom. Beats the heck out of some diamond ring.

I asked Matthew about the Alfa Romeo MiTo in the background. He said it's a company car and he doesn't really like it. It's on the way out to be replaced by a 3-Series, CLA, or Citroen DS5.

Indeed. You should meet Matthew someday when you travel to the UK. His Dad has a California I think. You'd probably get along famously.

He said it was a terrible ride. Not much more than that. Considering it sits next to a zillion dollar Ferrari, it's not tough to understand his view.

Haha certainly not tough to understand!.

I've read very various reviews of the MiTo because at some point I was considering buying one. Nearly all those reviews had mixed feelings about the car, making it a combination of brilliant and rubbish.

That daytona though... My God what a perfect car this is!

Thanks Dan, the California is long gone, my Dad has cut down his collection as he is not very well at the moment. He still has a Daytona Spyder Conversion and a 365GTC4 though.

The MiTo had a woeful ride even worse than a modern Minis. Engine was a bit gutless too. The Mito has gone have a BMW 120d M Sport to commute in now. That's a great little car.
